BSUK and Disability Sports Coach Join Forces

House of Sport aims to be the home of collaboration, fostering an environment where our Resident Organisations can come together to share knowledge and expertise that ultimately adds value to the work they are doing.

The short video below highlights a fantastic joint project that Baseball Softball UK and Disability Sports Coach worked on together through the power of collaboration.

BSUK were looking to develop their disability inclusion offer and Disability Sports Coach were looking to bring a fun sport that had not been utilised before to the people they work with. Goals aligned to make greatness happen.

Being within the same building opened the door to a partnership that benefited both organisations and resulted in an impact in the communities in which they work that will leave a lasting legacy.

By sharing knowledge and expertise this collaboration has not ended with just a single event that stands on its own but has paved the way for a continued relationship and new ways of working.

The skills and communications learnt will have a lasting impact on both organisations and positively influence the work they do in the future. Most importantly, working together is fun!
